The New Year
[January 11th, 2005] - Well, the new year is starting up, and come a few more months an advertising campaign for the League will start up again, hopefully with a bit more fanning of the flames. Enthusiasm dwindled in the past months, but hopefully some signs of faith will show through and make the season a great one. Keep spreading the word about the Prince Albert Dodgeball Association! And don't forget to check out Silverfox Designs, the creators of everything you see here!
Bad News
[October 21st, 2004] - Due to recent non-interest in the Prince Albert Dodgeball Association, the open tournament has been cancelled (or at least pushed back). We currently have 4 teams; we're going to need at least 8 to have a decent start. Sorry to everybody who was planning on playing, but If you really want to play then I suggest you spread the word a little bit more.
Shout Box
[October 7th, 2004] - Due to recent misuse and violations of the Shout Box on the right, you must now be logged in to post a message. Should you create an account, and continue to misuse the Shout Box, your account will be banned, your IP recorded, and well, you'll see from there.
Teams
[September 30th, 2004] - Well, up to almost 3 teams and I've had quite a few promising phone calls. At least by the look of things there'll be a few teams to play, so I guess we better organize the date. Look for information soon as to the whereabouts and time of the event!
Advertising
[September 25th, 2004] - Okay people, if you wanna play, you gotta spread the word about the Prince Albert Dodgeball Association. We can't play dodgeball if nobody hears about it! Their are quite a few flyers up, and when I talk to people they seem very enthusiastic, but I know for a fact that Carlton took down the flyers, and I guess people don't know about it. Spread the word! Dodgeball!
Flyers Out
[September 20th, 2004] - Lack of updates lately, but that's okay, because they don't really matter. Flyers for the PADA were posted today around the schools, hopefully they draw some interest. The team/results scripts will be completed/posted shortly, as some teams are bound to appear. Once again, any comments/suggestions are welcome! Send them here.
Coming Along
[September 13th, 2004] - Login now almost fully functional, you can sign up and then edit your profile, so other players can see. Don't worry about random people getting it, you have to be a member to view it (although any member will be able to see it). Site's almost done as far as I can take it, at least until we start getting some teams.
Login Now Working
[September 6th, 2004] - Login features have been updated, including the possibility to edit your profile. A system will be implemented soon where you can see who all is online. Member searching will also become available, where other people will be able to view your profile.
Scripting's Coming Along...
[September 5th, 2004] - Most of the site's pages are up, fine tuned a few of the new window links. As for the news caption - you can now register. Logging in is validating, but there's nothing there once you do. At least it's improving!
Pages Getting Up...
[September 4th, 2004] - Some of the sites pages are slowly appearing, like the General Info and the Rules and Regulations page. Some of the other pages are up, but since we have not registered any teams yet the content is somewhat lacking. Still aiming for the mid-month finish!
Just Keeping you informed...
[September 3rd, 2004] - Haven't posted an active update in a while, but the site has been coming along. To date the site is now cross-browser compatible, including Mozilla, IE, Opera, and Firefox (that I've tested). More updates coming, the goal is to have the site fully functional by mid-month. Until next time!
Leaps and Bounds...
[August 12th, 2004] - The aesthetics of the site seem to have dramatically improved overnight; the news management system is fully functional; and the user registration/login should be functional by the weekend, if I get as much time as I plan on getting, what with work and all. Check back later for more updates!
Site Launch
[August 11th, 2004] - The website was officially opened today, lots of work still to be done, but at least it's running. The news management system is complete, and the users control panel is coming along. The design is kind of appearing sporadically, just focusing on the usability of the site for now. Hopefully more to come soon! |
